View custom alerts

You can view a list of all alert instances from alert templates from the Triggered Alerts view and from the relevant campaign management view.

If you want to edit the campaigns or campaign entities identified in an alert, you can open a read-only, filtered view containing the data for the alert. You can then open a filtered view of the entities within the relevant campaign management view.

View alerts Within the Triggered Alerts view

  1. In the main menu, click Search > Insights & Reports > Custom Alerts.

  2. In the submenu, click Triggered Alerts.

  3. (Optional) Open a filtered view of the entities that met the alert criteria:

    1. Click the alert name to open a read-only view of the entities that met the alert criteria.

    2. (Optional) Do either of the following:

      • (Optional) To open a filtered view of the entities in the relevant campaign management view, click Live View.

        For example, for a campaign-level alert, this action opens the Campaigns view with a list of campaigns that met the alert criteria.

        NOTE
        If Search, Social, & Commerce has received revenue updates or the ad network has updated traffic metrics since the alert was triggered, then the metric values in the campaign management view may be different from the metric values in the original alert.
      • (Optional) To download the alert report, click Download and select the file format.

View an alert within the relevant entity view

  1. (Within the relevant entity view) Open the campaign management view for the entity type (Accounts, Campaigns, Ad Groups, Keywords, Ads, or Product Groups).

  2. In the upper right of the page, click Notifications

  3. In the Notifications view, click the Alerts tab.

  4. Click the alert name to open the Triggered Alertsview with the alert listed.

  5. (Optional) Open a filtered view of the entities that met the alert criteria:

    1. Click the alert name to open a read-only view of the entities that met the alert criteria.

    2. (Optional) Do either of the following:

      • (Optional) To open a filtered view of the entities in the relevant campaign management view, from which you can interact with the entity records, click Live View.

        For example, for a campaign-level alert, this action opens the Campaigns view with a list of campaigns that met the alert criteria.
