Implementation patterns overview

The Adobe Target implementation patterns provide guidance on how to implement Target following best practices and to help reduce implementation issues for customers and consultants.

Because the the process of implementing Target varies with different frameworks and platforms, the Target team plans to create implementation patterns for various frameworks, platforms, and integrations.

The following pattern is currently available:

These implementation patterns focus on what to do, when to do it, and where to do it. Detailed flow diagrams help you understand the sequence of operations and links to relevant documentation provide contextual and step-by-step instructions.

Suggest ideas for new patterns or corrections to existing patterns

The Target team plans to create various implementation patterns for different frameworks, platforms, and integrations. The team also welcomes suggestions for improvements to existing patterns.

To help the team create new patterns or to improve existing patterns, use the Feedback Options feature on the bottom of all articles in Adobe Experience League.

  1. To suggest ideas for new patterns, scroll to the bottom of this article to display the Feedback options modal.

  2. (Conditional) To suggest an idea for a new pattern or improvements to existing patterns, click Detailed feedback options, then click Report an issue.

    1. Provide a title, then type your comments in the text box.

      Attach files or screenshots, if needed.

    2. Click Submit new issue when finished.

  3. (Conditional) To edit text for an existing pattern, from the Feedback options model on the relevant article, click Suggest an edit, then click the Edit icon (the pencil icon).

    1. Make edits using markdown syntax.

    2. Click Commit changes when finished.

The Target team can review your comments or edits and communicate with you using this feature to gather additional information or to obtain further clarification, if necessary.
